I found that this story hit me where I was not expecting it. It had many twists and turns and kept me guessing for the entire novel. It really engaged my mind as I was reading it. It had some depth to it, some romance and just some pure great story telling. I loved it.

I must admit when I first saw the blurb for this story I was intrigued. Boy and girl break up, remain friends for seven years and then boy tries to get back together. I thought this was going to be a nice light read. I mean watching the boy chase the girl. It had to be worth a laugh.

Boy was I wrong. This story was not light and airy. It was rip my heart out and stomp on it, GREAT. It had unbelievable depth and intensity.

Jeremy Matthews and Savannah Morgan had dated through high school until Savannah had ended things with really no good reason. For years they coast together, still hanging out with the same crowd of people. Always together, close like best friends. He even moves on and is involved with Charlotte, but he has never really gotten over Savannah. It kills her to see him with Charlotte but she puts on a good front. She ended things and if he every knew why he would never forgive her.

His friends finally tell him" If Savannah is it for you, then you need to do everything in your power to make her see that." Thus begins "Operation Prove Savannah Wrong.'

He decides enough is enough and sets out to get her back with him. Where she belongs. " You are not getting away this time Sugar." He sends her flowers , cleans out the gutters at her house, fixes leaky faucets, mows the grass and shows up at work with lunch for her. He teases her relentlessly, kisses her without going further. He won't until she admits she wants him to.

"Sugar, all you have to do to get me to sleep with you is say four little words. We. Are. A. Couple." She caves. I mean really who wouldn't. They have hot sex every where, constantly, and things are great. UNTIL. She comes clean, she confesses. And then all hell breaks loose. Jeremy has a hard time dealing with what she has revealed. Will he be strong enough to get past it. Will their love really be all emcompassing to survive those seven long years apart and this devasting secret. What about her group of friends? Will they choose sides? Will she have anyone left after all is finally reveled?

Get out the kleenex and the warm blanket ladies. You are in for an emotional ride as you read this story. It is heartbreaking as Savannah truly reveals her soul to us as we read about her life. She has had to experience so much at such a young age and has bottled it up inside her for so long without really dealing with it and moving on. I loved reading about the two of them and I am hoping and praying for a HEA. I would rate this story a 5/5 and am definately going to read more by this author.
This is the book that I will be reviewing tomorrow in time for the Blitz, I thought I would give you all a sneak peak at the cover.

I recently read " A Beautiful Prison"by Jenika Snow. She released it a little while ago and is having all sorts of issues with it on Amazon, first they pulled it, saying it was inappropriate and then we was the victim of many malicious comments. finally it is back up where it needs to be. I thought  I would share my thoughts with everyone. sure it was a little dark, edging towards some non consensual actions but it was always done tastefully and with the utmost respect. It was a deep and moving novel. It really makes you have a look at all that you hold dear and appreciate what you have. I really loved it. here is my review. Please join me in reading it and follow me as we continue to praise the authors we love so that they continue to write for us. Imagine if they all get discouraged and stop writing, what will we, the reader do then ?? Watch TV?? I hope to he'll not.

Ruby Jacobson is living in a trailer with Mom. She has just finished highschool and is planning her escape. She has saved her money and is catching a bus heading to Fort Hampton on a one way ticket.
Somehow things go wrong on this journey of hers and she finds herself held captive and up for sale. Gavin Darris, a millionaire is at the human auction looking for a true submissive, he wants someone who will enjoy having his marks on her body, someone that will crave the pain he wishes to cause and he thinks that might be Ruby.
She is wisked away to start her new life. "She was his. He needed to possess her, own her, make sure that she knew that he was the one that held all the power."
She only has two rules to follow 1. obey and 2. never deny him.
Ruby does not think that she is normal. Her entire life she has had dark fantasies, but not like this, this is against her will, he makes her feel things that she shouldn't. She struggles against him, struggles to be free of him. She thinks that she is demented, what normal person wants pain with their pleasure? Why is she becoming aroused by her captor?
This story was simply amazing. It was an emotional journey between these two characters. I found the relationship between them was changing and evolving from the first time they met. It is unconceivable that he purchases her and is convinced that she will just automatically obey and bow to him. Yet he did treat her with some kindness. She struggles so very much to decide what she wants out of her life. She never thought of herself as anyone's possession.
This story had some really dark parts to it. I admit that I did struggle at the beginning, with how she comes to be there, but realize that it was necessary for us to have that background. I thought his character was perfect. Just the right amount of sadistic behavior thrown in with some compassion. I don't want to give away any other spoilers. I would definately recommend this story to anyone that likes a little darkness and a fresh story line. I would give this story a 5/5.(less)

This short novella is the first in a series of 5 (so far) Can't wait to read more.Especially if they all have such hot covers!
This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. It is the first in a series of 5 (so far) stories about a group of friends that share a holiday home together.

Kristi Cross has had a devastating day when she walks in on her lover screwing her waitress in the storage room at the coffee shop she owns. So off she goes to the cottage to get away for a few days. Cameron Jackson is there as well. He is also newly single. Kristi has had the hots for him forever but always thought that he was way out of her league. Fate is looking out for her today and the two of them get together to play a game of cards. He wants to put a bet on the table.

"I was thinking we could play for something."

"Something?

"A kiss , maybe?"

"We're just f- friends"

"Are you saying that you don't want to kiss me?"

"I - No! I just ....... We've always ....... It's probably...."

"I didnt' think that you found me attractive. That's all."

" Are you crazy? You're stunning."

And so it begins. The two of them discover that they are very well suited to one another. They have hot sex all over the place. In many different rooms and positions. The two of them have explosive chemistry and need which they eagerly explore.

But, alas, all is not quite rosy in their little love nest yet. There will be some bumps in the road that need to be smoothed out. They will need to decide if they is just a rebound relationship or whether there is something else there that they need to explore for the long term.

I loved this author's style of writing. It was very easy to read. The secondary characters are introduced in such a way that it leaves you eager to get the next part of the series to discover what everyone else's story is about. They story was a shrot quick read and I was able to finish it in one sitting. Sometime's this is a perfect way to sit down and escape for an hour at night. Great job 4/5.

This is the second installment in the The Ravenwood Circle Series. We first met Eva and Peter Ravenwood in Marraige Counseling From A Stripper Pole when they reached a crises point in the marriage as Peter was spending too much time at work and Eva was feeling ignored. In order to save their marriage they added an encounter with another woman to their lives.

In this part of the story they are once again looking for another woman. Tonight they are meeting Brooke. At first glance she is beautiful with a lush body and beautiful red hair. The three of them hit is off instantly. They bond together over dinner and soon head up to their room for some after dinner fun.

It is such a turn on for Peter to watch Eva dominate Brooke and it is definately turning both Eva and Brooke on. They experiment with all sorts of positions and share everything equally between each other. Eva finds something deep inside her is satisfied as she watches her husband with Brooke as they pleasure each other.

This story is definately a true love story. Eva and Peter are deeply committed to one another. And yet he realizes that something can be added to enhance their life, that maybe Eva would like a little bit more and he is confident enough to go after it. His prime goal is just to make his wife happy. You just gotta love this guy.

They sex scenes between the three of them are very very tastefully done. I loved reading them and look forward to the next installment. I would rate this story a 5.5 Excellent. Packs quite the punch in a short period of time.

This is the first installment is the brand new series by Alessandra Torre, during these three books we follow the lives and romance of the two main characters Julia Campbell and Brad Deluca. She is mostly and innocent in the area of love and sex and Brad is her direct opposite. He introduces her to things, experiences and people that never in her dreams did she think existed. This is truly a emotional and physical journey for both of these characters. I enjoyed all three of the stories. I loved the way that they effortlessly moved from one story to the next. I thought the author did a great job with with writing both the story line and the depth of her characters. I was able to really get inside their thoughts and feelings and thought I was part of their lives. Thank you Alessandra for providing me with a wonderful set of books. Me and my couch are much better acquainted because of you.

Julia Campbell has just broken off her engagement to Luke. She has moved to a new town and taken a new job as an intern at the law firm of Clark, Deluca and Broward. She is assigned to lawyer Kent Broward, who drowns his interns in emormous amounts of paper work and told to stay away from Brad Deluca as he sleeps with anything and everything.

Staying away from Brad is harder than it sounds as she finds him devastatingly attractive. Once he gets his sights on her, he goes after her full force. He convinces her to go to Vegas with him for the weekend. No sex, he promises, I just want to get to know you. Somehow he figures out while talking to her that she has never had an orgasm. He makes it his mission to rectify that.

"This is about you. I want to please you. You said you can't come."

"Yeah, so?"

"I'm going to make you."

And with that she gets her first orgasm and enters into a whole new sexual world with Brad. His desires are so much more than she has ever experienced before. They are deeper and a little on the forbidden side. He puts the fire in her sex life as he exposes her breasts at the hotel pool, smacks her butt and takes her to her first high class strip club. She is out of her league but enjoying every minute. He makes her feel alive and so very sexy. He is insatiable, but does not hesitate to tell her that he does not do relationships.

"I can't be what you want. This will be sex and that's it."

"I don't want anything from you. I just want your cock. In me. Now."

This book was smoking hot. I was loving it. I am looking forward to reading the next installment, to see what other sexual adventures these two have coming for them. The author did a great job with the sexual tension and definately leaves the reader wanting MORE. 5/5 from me.

If you thought that you enjoyed the first in the series, wait until you read this one. Their lives are just beginning and things are getting hotter and hotter. A great read, and a even better series.

This is the second part of the series that revolves around Julia Campbell and Brad DeLuca. She is an intern at the law firm where Brad is a prominant divorce attorney. In the first story these two characters have embarked on a sexual journey that is a little bit more risque than anything that Julia has every experienced. Brad likes his sex with a little bit of spice, a little bit of kink, some toys to enhance the experience or perhaps even an extra body to change things up. He confesses that he does not think she will be able to handle his life style. He wonders if she will fit in and whether he will be able to stay monagomous with her.

She replies" I've tried the threesome and I'm cool with that if that's what you need to be faithful."

I think that she is trying to fit into his world, to be what he desires of her. And why not, she is sure experiencing new things and loving every minute of it. She loves the exploration into her sexual being and enjoys being with both the extra woman and the extra man. The toys that Brad uses on her certainly bring immense satisfaction. A little bit of action over the kitchen counter, a little smack on the ass here and there. It all leads to a great deal of hot, hot, hot sex. I am getting steamy just reading about these two.

This story was very well written and there was so much more to it than just lots of sex. Soon these two find themselves deep in the middle of a murder mystery as some one in the office is found dead. Her life becomes in danger and it is up to Brad to protect and cherise her. Good thing that he is up for the job. There are some unexpected events and crisises they need to work through and some trust issues to plow through. I thoroughly enjoyed this part of the series and I am anxiously awaiting the new part. I would give both this author and these books a 5/5 and will definately be putting her down as one of my favourite authors. This girl can really write. I love to be completely immersed in a story and I was certainly captivated by this one from the very first page. Of the first book. And I think that they just keep getting better. It takes alot of talent to hold a readers' interest for a series and I think that Alessandra has loads of talent!

End Of Innocence
Book Three of the amazing series. A must read.

End of Innocene

Alessandra Torre

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an hones review.

This is the third and final segment in the "Innocence" series. What a ride it has been. It has been a while since an author has make me want to sit and read three books about the same characters in a single sitting. But with these three I eagerly did just that. It did take me a few days, but other books were put on hold so that I could get to the ending and find out more about these characters that I have grown to love.

Julia and Brad start out this book engaged as a way to protect her. They have agreed on a one year engagement and this is that journey. They continue to learn more about one another and fall deeper and deeper into love and of course lust. There is still drama at the office as the murder is being investigater. There is still plenty of funky sex scenes as they broaden their horizens and even a surprise birthday present for him.

Julia grows as a person as she becomes more confident in herself and her sexuality. She is for the most part confident in her relationship with Brad and allows him to outfit her apartment with the latest in safey features and alarms.

The countdown to the wedding is on. There is bound to be glitches, things may or may not go as planned. His father has not responded to the invitation and there is still plenty of tension surrounding him. Will he come? Will he cause trouble?

I was on the edge of my seat as the book was literally a countdown of days until the wedding, the wedding of the century. It was going to be lavish, it was going to be a huge society event.

Once again this author has definately written a winner. I enjoyed and devoured every single page. I loved everything about it, the abundant funky sex scenes, the loving sex scenes, the love that was so evident between the two of them and of course the mystery, the intrigue and just the damn suspense. I loved it all. I would rate this series a 5/5 simply because I can't go any higher.

While doing book reviews many of the stories we read are gifted to us in exchange for an honest review, but sometimes a book calls to you, whether it is by an author you like to read or has a story line that interests you, sometimes a book is just begging for you to buy it, read it and enjoy it.

This was one of those books.

Three years have gone by since Callie used to sub to her Master Jack. She left him because she believed that he did not love her the way that she needed/craved to be loved.

Now in town for the holidays they meet up once again. Straight away they easily fall back into their comfortable patterns, him dominating and her submitting. The sex is hot and steamy, but still there is something missing. For her, she is still looking for happy ever after, marriage, kids and a picket fence. For him, he is searching for the reason she left in the first place, desparate to keep her with him, but unable to open himself up to ask her for answers and declare his feelings for her.

He tries to tell her the only way he know how. In the bedroom. In the bed, in his dominating manner he tries to portray his emotions. Sure he uses a few extra toys, a vibrator, a paddle and a funky snowflake nipple shield. He gives her countless orgasms, but somehow he is just falling short on the aftercare, he is forgetting the cuddling, sometimes sending her after right away. She is confused but still deeply in love and keeps returning for more. Sooner or later he will let her spend the night and she will get the holding and loving that she wants, right?

Will he finally get his act together? Will she ever have the nerve to confront him, to explain what she is craving? Or will she walk away again.?

I thought this book had some hot sex scenes, he is definately a dom to salivate over, his scenes had me wiggling in my chair. I definatley recomment anyone who enjoys some domination to buy this book. It was great. I would rate it 5/5.

Hunky men, yep that is what we all want to read about. Here is another promotional offer. Prince Charming by S. Celi .
Enjoy some more.
Today I am going to do something a little different. Something that I have not done before, but something I think really defines the reason that we bloggers are here. And that is to promote and showcase authors and their stories. The authors do such an amazing job with their books. They pour their heart and soul into each and every one of them. It is our job as bloggers and readers to get the word out there, to promote and share. It is only through this sharing that we enable other readers to do what we do best, enjoy the books. The more books that an author has being read and enjoyed the happier they are, they happier they are, the more they write and the more that we get to read and the happier we become. I know you are finally getting it. I AM SELFISH, I just want more books for me to enjoy!
Please enjoy with me!  This series is on sale for a limited time, enjoy it.

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review

Cooper Wilde has escaped his home town "Old Town" in New Jersey to live in the big city, to drive a fancy car, work on Wall Street and live in a high class condo.

Savannah Young is working as a fraud investigator and heads out to Haymakers Bar to make sure that their recent loan is on the up and up. She is living in New York but is sick of all the yuppy young Wall Street men that she keeps meeting on dates. They only want to talk about their job, bank account or new car. She wants to find a man capable of having a real conversation.

Cooper and Savannah are instantly attracted to each other. Lucky for them she is involved in a little fender bender and needs to stay in town. After a liquor drinking bet she is spending the weekend at his parent's house. Unlucky for him she thinks he is a small town boy, not the yuppy wall street type she is avoiding. Oh oh, it is never good to start a relationship built on a lie, these things seem to come back and bite you on the butt at the first inconvenient moment.

Cooper and Savannah spend the weekend together and get to know one another better. She says " I'd like to know why I'm completely naked and you are still fully clothed"

"That's a good question. I don't have an answer for you but I have a solution if you think it is a problem."

"I think it is a problem."

The sexual tension between the two of them is hot hot hot. The love scenes even hotter. These two are falling and falling fast. They have sex in a variety of places and even spend a romantic evening at the county fair.

But, remember the secret.

I thought this story was great. It was fast paced and kept me turning the pages. His three other brothers were introduced and we were given tidbits of information about them. It is easy to see how this is going to spin off into a series of stories. I loved how easy this book flowed. The story line had a lot of different aspects and had no trouble keeping my interest or keeping me entertained. I would certainly rate it 5/5.

Review Blitz for Wilde Riders By Savannah Young.

Here is My Review for Shade's Fall.

Jamie Begley has quickly become one of my favourite authors. She has two series out right now, The Last Riders and The VIP Room, these series are intertwined and I am just loving them. They are about a totally different set of characters but they are starting to mingle as Lily turns out to be the long assumed dead childhood friend of Vida and Sawyer.

This is Lily's book. She has a very damaged childhood. She grew up with her adopted family with Beth as her sister. She watched as her strict minister father treated Beth horribly for years and she has some deeply buried memories of her life before that. She uses a elastic band on her wrist, snapping it to releave her anxiety. Shade has had his sister Penni living with her at college to keep an eye on her over the years. He had fallen hard for her when she was too young to respond.

He is ready now, she is old enough for him.

I love the hot sex scenes in these biker books.Yes, they do for the most part stay faithful to the one they are with but every now and again participate in some menage activities. Their entire concept and beliefs are that sex is to be enjoyed and let me tell you, there is alot of enjoyment going on.

Lily is innocent and as such is treated with kid gloves. Shade takes his time with her but still reveals his true character in his dominant handling of her stress levels. He gives her a time-out corner where she can stand to get her thoughts in order, he teaches her self defense moves, and holds her to calm her down. This is the first time that she has been attracted to a man and it totally overwhelms her.

Lily's dark past is coming after her and there are attempts to harm her, her life is in danger and she must move in with Shade, share a room and a bed with him in order to keep herself safe. It is very hard for her to let him in. But he perserveres. He loves her. He treasures her, the bad boy has definately met his match. I loved this series and I loved this book.

He introduces her to her sexual identify with such finesse and care, bit by bit as she is ready. He helps her to fight her inner demons but does not put up with nonsense and she finds herself over his lap getting a spanking on a few occasions. I am definately going to keep reading books by this author. I would rate this book a 5/5
In Keeping with my newest post for the book blitz and release tour for Jamie Begley's newest book Shade's Fall, here are some interesting questions and answers from the author herself.

Q&A with Author Jamie Begley

Ok…Favorite Last Rider? (Everyone has a favorite..cough…Knox…so you have to have one too!)

Razer, since he was my first ;)

Any of the characters, Heroes/Heroines, give you such a hard time while writing?
Lily was my favorite but the hardest. I truly felt her story in my heart. I just wanted to cry with her, and heal her at the same time.
Where did the idea for "The Last Riders" come from?
Actually, I just started writing Beth’s character and Razer showed up when I thought of a match for her. I’m not the type of writer that plans stories out, I think of a character and let their story follow. After Razer entered the story I researched motorcycle clubs and watched everything on television that had a motorcycle club. Of course my guys are better looking.
Can you tell the readers a little bit about your New Release, SHADES FALL?
Shade had seen Lily when he first came to Treepoint and fell for her hard. Lily is a broken girl who suffers from extreme panic attacks. Shade realizes she’s to young and damaged for him so he has to wait, Shade’s Fall is about his battle to win Lily now and slay her demons from the past.
What can the readers look for next in the Last Riders Series? Which Sexy Biker do we have on the chopping block next?
I haven’t made my mind up yet, but I’m thinking it’s going to be Cash. Maybe Train.
And I for one am thrilled that we will get more Biker Bitches, do you have an idea who is next?

Evie, but Killyama won’t quit calling me. I’m thinking of changing my number.

In your latest release, TAINTED, we come to find out who Lily really was in the past, was that planned ahead of time, or did it come out while writing?
From the moment that Lily came to me I knew where the story was going and how I would have to do it to show not only why Lily is as damaged as she is but how beautiful a person she is to overcome her hardships. The hardest part was keeping it a secret from everyone. The editors would want to close holes in the stories that needed to remain open. It was very difficult to do without frustrating the readers but also to give them the thrill of the reveal in Tainted. I wanted the readers to have that OMG moment that I wanted them to have.
Speaking of, are you a plotter or a pantser? Can you tell your readers a little bit about your writing process?
I really don’t have a writing process, I wish sometimes I did. I begin every morning about 7 a.m. and sit down at my computer and I just let the characters lead me where they want to go. I will have scenes I want to do or plans for them and they just won’t go that way sometimes. I can plan how the stories interweave in that respect I’m more of a plotter. I think that’s why my readers can relate to the characters and become more involved in the stories, because they are trying to figure out where the stories are headed next.
Were you anticipating the success of Razers Ride? Did you have the next few books planned, or did they come about as you gained a following?
No one is ever going to believe this but this is the truth. Several years ago I released Soul of a Man and sold maybe ten copies to family and friends. When I wrote Razer’s Ride it was mainly for my own pleasure because I loved writing. When I finished writing Razer’s Ride I gave it to my daughter to read while I began to write Viper’s story, I originally only planned to do five Last Rider books. My daughter read Razer’s Ride and loved it and wouldn’t get off my back about publishing it. She did the cover and had it proofread, she put the book up to be released on her birthday. None of us expected anyone to even notice it. We had her birthday party and didn’t even look to see if it was selling until the next day. The first twenty copies sold, we were naming off relatives that could have bought it, when I sold over forty copies then I realized people were actually buying it. I knew nothing about Goodreads or the wonderful reviews until almost a week later when a fan tracked down my email on the web. So, no I had no idea that Razer’s Ride would change my life.
Do you have any advice for aspiring romance writers?
The biggest piece of advice I can tell anyone is to not give up. It’s sad to say that I did. If not for my son and daughter, I wouldn’t have tried publishing again. Now, I’ve learnt if a book doesn’t sell just move on to the next… there is always a story waiting to be told and it maybe the one to bring you the success you’ve been looking for.
Where can readers find you?

Twisted (Tangled, #2)

March 18, 2014
I decided that I needed to read a nice love story and chose Tangled and Twisted by Emma Chase. I was gifted Twisted by Net Galled and therefore had to buy Tangled in order to get the basis for the story. I just hate getting into a series in the middle. I always need to start at the beginning and read them in order. A little bit of OCD in my I suppose.

Twisted (The Tangled Series)

Emma Chase

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. This is the second half of the story. The first one was Tangled. We were introduced to the characters Drew and Kate. The fall in love and this story takes place two years later. The first story was done in Drew's POV and it was hilarious. I laughed at every page. It was very well done and I was nervous as to how this one would compare. I should not have had any doubts. The author delivered another winner.

They continue to work together and become known as "The Dream Team", everyone wants them to do their accounts, they are on top of the world both professionaly and personally. They have smoking hot sex and have experimented in all types of positions. When they tried anal sex Kate thought it was delicious and it made her feel beautiful and sacred.

But all is not meant to be and a serious misunderstanding comes between them. Words are said. Actions are done and hearts are broken. Not only broken but totally destroyed. She quickly runs from her new life and heads back home to her family to tend to her ripped apart emotions. He stays in the apartment and drinks himself into a stupor.
I can not tell you what happened or how it will resolve. That just would not be appropriate. I just recommend that you read these two books. They will evoke all sorts of emotions. There is happiness and love, then sadness and so much anger. The author did a great job with describing how these two characters handle this emotional upheaval. The writing style is quick and very witty. I loved them both. 5/5 would be my rating.

Denies Me (Every Part of You, #4)

March 18, 2014
This is the fourth part of this series. I am devastated that there is only one more to go. It does not come out for two more weeks. How will I ever be able to wait that long. I am antsy.

Every Part Of You Denies Me

Megan Hart

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

This is the fourth part of this series. I think I am going to miss it when I am finished. This story has been one of the best that I have read in a while. The sexual tension is great. The author keeps throwing in little bits of drama just enough to keep up going. In this part of the series we learn a little bit more about his relationship to the mysterious Molly and who she was in his life.

Elliot and Simone are spending more time together, dabbling a little bit more in adding a little bit of roughness and a smidgeon of pain to their sexual adventures. But Elliot is still so at odds with himself and who he is. He has decided that what he likes is not normal. That what they are doing together even though it is consensual is not normal.

She wants him to hurt her. He can't he says it is sick and digusting and he does not think he can be that person.

Poor Simone is going through so many ups and down in this relationship, one minute he wants her and the next he is pushing her away. She is falling in love with him and she is devastated. She then goes to see her old friend Aiden, he will give her the pain that she needs, that she craves. He will make her feel that what she wants is okay, that she is okay as a person.

Way to go Megan Hart, a 5/5 from me. The next one does not realise for two more weeks, I don't know how I will make it through and then it will be over.

This is the third part of this new series. I am loving it. It has all the necessary details to make a great story. It has a hot hero, a sweet heroine, lots of sexual tension, sex that is off the charts and some deep deviant behavior as well, what is not to like, what more could you possibly ask for.

Every Part Of You Taunts Me

Megan Hart

This is the third part of these amazing series that will have you non stop page turning.

Simone has not been with Elliot for awhile when she is invited to a party thrown by Trent Boudreux, who is rumored to be the future Govenor. Of couse Elliot is there.

They meet up after the party and the sparks are flying. They delve deeper into realm of sexual pain.

"I'm going to hurt you Simone."

"I hope so, I told you, I like it."

They experiment with his belt and puts clothes pins on her nipples. Holy hotness here. The sex scenes were smoking. This author does a great job of creating and setting the background for these two characters. Their wants and needs are so similar. Simone is okay with who she is and embrasses the fact the fact that she likes a little pain and prefers her sex a little bit rougher. Elliot has been not reached this point in his life yet and is still weary of finding anyone like he it. He is not at peace with who he is and struggles to admit it to himself or anyone else.

I am really enjoying this story and looking forward to the next part. I would rate this series a 5/5.

Part two in the new series by Megan Hart. These books are witty, quick and so very sexy. You must get them. I am devouring them.

Every Part of You Resists Me

Megan Hart

This story was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

Simone and Elliot are still dancing around their attraction to one another. The sexual tension is simply off the charts. After hurting her feelings by not sleeping with her and easing their joint sexual tensions Elliot has been ignoring Simone for over two weeks.

He agrees to go on a date with her, so she takes him to a place she thinks he will hate, a bar with loud music, dark lighting and gothic decor. He surprises her watching her dance and then dancing with her. They are both turned on and finally give in to their urges. They have an amazing time together. They both let go and enjoy one another. She decides to trust him with her inner most wants and needs.

" I like it when you hurt me."

We are introduced to a new character " Molly" she is in a nursing home suffering from brain trauma induced dementia. She is very important to him and he visits her weekly and brings her flowers. The mystery is who she is? We are not to know? Not in this book anyway.

Now of course Elliot is still battling with his inner demons, he does not think that he should like the things he does, he doesn't thing Simone really likes them either, she is just trying to please him and then she will do what they all do. She will show digust for him and walk away. So he comes out fighting " I don't think we should see each other again. Don't come to my office."

Well, another cliffhanger ending. How does she do things things over and over again. Why am I still allowing myself to be sucked into these books. I must now go and continue, I need to find out what happens next, I need book three. I would rate this story 5/5 or higher if I could

I enjoyed Opal Carew's six part series that I decided to give another author that is writing one a go. Megan Hart and her series "Every Part of You" Unfortunately I only have four out of the five parts, So I need to wait until April 1, 2014 for the fifth and final part. I love these books, they pack so much punch into every little section, they all have such a cliffhanging ending. I HATE WAITING.

Every Part of You (Tempts Me)

Megan Hart

This is the first part of a five part series focusing around Elliot Anderson and Simone Kahan.

Elliot works on the 11th floor of the Montgomery Building as a lawyer and in the opposite wing of the building on the 12th floor Simone works. She is able to look out of her office window and see into his office. She watches him. Elliot has a very healthy sexual appetite and has sex alot in his office and therefore Simone watches alot. She is quite the voyeur. He has some steamy scenes that involve some hair pulling, some over the desk sex and even some spanking. This arouses Simone.

They finally meet one another in the elevator and sparks fly. After a quick makeover on her part, undoing some buttons on her shirt, hiking up her skirt, spiking out her hair she is acceptable to go as his date to a party hosted by his fried Barry.

Afterwards as he drops her off at her apartment they kiss, they fondle, she is getting all worked up. She wants more, she wants things a little rougher.

"More " Simone had said, but she had not idea what that meant for a man like him. No woman ever had. He has wants and needs that noone ever understands.

Whoa, what a start, this book had me ripping through the pages to get more, I was antsy in my seat waiting, waiting, waiting. And then the end. Ugg. Good thing I have round 2. I would rate a 5/5 for sure. Without a doubt.

Seducing Chase

March 15, 2014
I have read a few books by Cassandra Carr. I find that I really enjoy her type of writing. This one certainly did not disappoint. I really do enjoy a good sex scene, that is what erotica is mostly about. But with a good ROMANCE novel I feel that there needs to be something else, that the background story is just as important to the story line as the sex scens are. This story delivered on both accounts. The sex was smoking hot, Val and Nate had alot of sexual tension between themselves and really heated up the sheets, when they finally got between them. The hospital drama was dead centre to the story line and I found myself wondering if and how it was going to be resolved. Good Work Cassandra Carr.

Seducing Chase

Cassandra Carr

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

Public Relations Director Val Chase is working a Cancer Care Centre or CCC in Buffalo when one of the Doctors there takes out with millions of dollars. This is a public relations nightmare. Her boss CEO of the hospital calls in an old college buddy who specializes in PR work Nate O' Halloran. Val dislikes him right from the start, not sure if it is because he is so smoking hot, his sexy bedroom eyes , has a dominant attitude or if she is worried that he is out for her job.

They need to be able to work together to get the public to forget about the crises, they need to generate good publicity. As such they find themselves going together to a hight class hospital charity gala. He is dressed in a tux, her a evening gown, the sparks between them are no longer going to be denied.

"No more hiding, Val. I'm going to see all of you tonight, and you are going to see all of me."

I thought the author did a great job with this story. It was full of mystery, tension, the fight to apprehend the bad guy and of course plenty of sex. When these two finally decided to listen to their hormones they had sex everywhere, in his hotel, her house, her office and even in the hospital. But, of course he does not live in Buffalo, he is only there to help out in crises time. What will happen now? Will he go home? Will she be able to forget him or will her heart be broken? Will they get their happy ever after?

I would rate this story a 4/5. I appreciated the story line surrounding the hospital and the crises, it added so much extra to the whole book, the love story developed at the perfect pace, lots of sexual tension to be discovered before actually given in to their lusty feelings. I would definately read more by this author.

A Beautiful Prison

March 14, 2014
I was lucky enough to be on Facebook at the right time. Jenika Snow was looking for bloggers to review her newest book "A Beautiful Prison" She was a little nervous as this book is on the dark side. Being someone who likes to visit the dark side sometimes I begged her for a copy. I really did pesture her and I think she just gave me one to shut me up. I read it in record time, I had to, it was calling my name. Here is Ruby's story.

A Beautiful Prison

Jenika Snow

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

I would give this story a 5/5.

This is the second book by J.D. Rivera. I had originally rated the first one a 4/5, but after reading the two of them I upgraded to a 5/5. I thought the second book had so much to offer. It was a true emotional journey for these characters and I applauded how the author was able to help them through it. Each character had a lot to offer to the story line and they all blended together seemingly so effortlessly. I very much enjoyed this series.

Defensive

J.D. Rivera

This book was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

We first meet Vanessa and Jackson when they literally crash into one another in Guarded. Even with Vanessa going through a divorce from her cheating, verabally abusive husband Shane, she and Jackson hit it of and fall in love. They have the start of something really special. A bump in the road appears when his ex-girlfriend Cynthia announces she is pregnant with his child.Well that will certainly put the brakes on a new relationship. But they perservere and continue on.

I love how this author presented us with bits and pieces that explained her relationship with Shane and the reasons for his horrendous behaviour. It was great that Vanessa was able to understand and find closure with that part of her life.

All is not clear sailing yet for her though, she has some very tough times ahead as she deals with some personal issues. It appears that Shane is going to be around to hold her hand and only time will tell how Jackson will react to that news. Will he be mature enough to allow her this new friendship or will he just want to rip his head off for all the heartbreak he was ultimately responsible for.

There are some serious issues that Vanessa needs to deal with, some trust issues that she needs to learn. Vanessa needs to be able to confide in Jackson when she needs to, and trust that he will be there for her. Things take a while as she pushes him away and tries to deal with everything herself. Will these two lovers ever just learn how to love. To just let go of all outside interference and just learn to rely on one another to truly appreciate each other for who and what they are and what they mean to one another.

The author did a great job with this series detailing the road to love and happiness is bound to have so many conflicts in it. That the true basis and life line in a relationship is openness, communication and trust.

I also really enjoyed the secondary characters and would love to see another story based on the relationship between her brother and her best friend. They have serious chemistry and history. I rated the first part of this series a 4/5, but I believe after reading them together that they deserve a 5/5.

This is my first participation in a blog tour. Today is my feature day and the book featured today is Defensive and Guarded by J.D. Rivera. These were two really sweet love stories. They had a lot of twists and turns as these two battled to find their possible happy ever after. I was impressed by the writing style and the originality of this series and would love to read more by this author.

Guarded

J.D. Rivera

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

Vanessa is trying to get on with her life. She is in the process of divorcing her husband Shane. He has been verbally abusive to her as well as cheating on her numerous times. She has had enough and is moving on.

Vanessa is out one day running when she literally bumps into a handsome stranger. There is some heat between these two and the sparks are flying. Jackson Berrion is a NBA lead scorer and Vanessa does not recognize him. He finds that so refreshing. He is nice and courteous to her and she finds that refreshing. They have lunch together and explore the waterfront.

They leave without exchanging numbers because Vanessa has been hurt before, she believes herself ugly and unworthy of love. Jackson however recognizes the beauty inside her and makes a surprise appearance at the school where she teaches.

They have alot of things in common and slowly they start to spend time together. Just as friends. She will not kiss him as her divorce is not yet final. It does her battered self esteem good to have a friend. He is so attracted to her, he will take whatever she is offering.

She drives a run down car, so he buys himself an "extra" car in case she ever needs it and then pays some thugs to tamper with hers.

This is the first story in their journey. It starts out all sweet and lovely but alas, there is going to be a few bumps in the road. Her bestest friend Amanda plays a great secondary character, and his ex Cynthia shows up to stir up trouble. I am looking forward to reading Defensive and continuing with the journey of Vanessa and Jackson. I would rate this story a 4/5.

Awakening

March 11, 2014
This story was gifted to me by the author for an honest review. I thought it was very well done. The beginning starts off with Vanessa experimenting with BDSM for a school paper but quickly turns into a very deep and moving love story. It really hits some touchy subjects when talking about PTSD and I found it to be very well done. I enjoyed all aspects of the story. Will is a very hot dom with a great dom voice and the author did not disappoint on the love scenes. They were yummy.
Happy Reading

Awakening

Cassandra Carr

I love to read a good romance novel. Boy meet girl, falls in love, has good sex and lives happily ever after. I mean, every one loves that kind of story, but sometimes I want a little bit more, sometimes I want my sex to be a little bit rougher, a little bit more interesting, with a little bit more variety, you know maybe some spanking or some toys.

Vanessa Clark is attending university and needs to write a term paper for her latest psychology class, her Psychology of Sex class. The paper is worth a big chunk of the grade and as such it needs to be awe inspiring, fresh and interesting. She decides to write about BDSM and goes to the local fetish club Decandence for an interview.

The owner of the club Rod is indisposed with a migraine and his best friend Will agrees to meet with Vanessa. He shows her around and lets her watch a few of the tamer scenes. She witnesses some sensation play that involves ice cubes and spanking. She is intrigued and honestly a little turned on.

Will is attracted to Vanessa straight off, something about her innocence and natural submissive nature heads straight to his heart and he finds himself slowly introducing her to his world. Vanessa is captivated and enjoying every minute of it.

As in all D/s relationships there comes a time when punishment needs to be doled out and soon Vanessa finds herself over his lap for her first spanking. He makes her feel things that she never has before, he ties her to the bed and blindfolds her. She is falling for him.

"Tell me what made you groan."

"The thought of you taking over. Sir"

Will is a hostage negotiator. He is often called out on assignment and their new relationship will be tested a few times. He is part of a rescue gone bad and it will take alot of courage from both of them to work through this. He will need to search deep inside himself for the strength to work this out. Vanessa will also have to re-evaluate what she wants in a relationship and what she is willing to do in order to have it. What does she need to do to keep this man and their new found love.

I thought that the author did a great job with this story. It started out light and quick paced as they start to know one another and develop a relationship but then turned very serious as he has a traumatic experience and needs to recover from it. Their new love is severly tested and it is interesting to see how they both cope with these new challanges. How will they come together or will neither of them have the strength to see things through. I would give this story a 5/5. The characters had a great deal of depth to them as did the best friend Rod. I loved learning about how she experiences aspects of BDSM for the first time as well. Well done.

The next book that I happened across was one that made me laugh, I thought the author did a great job of entertaining me and I eagerly turned page after page to see when Travis/Trent would get busted. He ( Trent ) was pretending to be his brother (Travis) and he was falling in love while doing so. With a girl that originally had a crush on Trent and his not going to like it when she finds out she has been lied to.

Sex, Lies and Beauty Aides

Deb Julienne

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest reviews.

Sabrina Thompson is working at the magazine Skin Deep writing a column about beauty aids. She is comfortable and content in her life as she experiments and tries to find new products for her readers at a lower cost. She is still lusting over a guy that she met a party four years ago, Trent Wellington.

The magazine unfortunately is experiencing a large shift in power and the owner Travis Wellington steps in to clean things up. But, crazy part here, Travis is secretly in rehab and so his twin brother Trent takes the realm, BUT he pretends to be Travis. If that was not shake up enough they are changing Sabrina's column to one that deals with love and sex. These are things this twenty four year old virgin knows nothing about.

So Travis/Trent offers to help her out with her research. Sabrina still remembers Trent, having harboured a secret crush on him for four years and feels really guilty when she starts having feelings for Travis/Trent. He of course is having lots of guilt living a lie and trying to keep all the lies straight.

This story was hilarious, I laughed and laughed and laughed. It was so sweet to see these two fight their feelings for one another and yet continue to spend time together and fall deeper. It was well done to witness Travis/Trent as he battled with himself as to when to come clean. It was not really only his life on this line her but it was also his brother's secret he was keeping. Sabrina's roommate Kat was the boy's cousin and she guessed about the identity switch at the beginning and she loves to bug him about it.

Throw in some romantic dinner dates as they try out restaurants for the Valentines's date edition, a new friend named Angel who runs a local sex boutique, a pair of old ladies who enlighten her about sex as a senior and a trip to the local precint for propositioning a prostitue and voila, you have an amazingly funny read. I would definately recommend this story to all romance readers. It was a light romantic read that easily flowed page by page. The author did a great job with all the secondary characters and the ending was beautiful and perfect. 5/5 for me.
March 11, 2014 part two,
The second part of Dakota Madison's series of Fire on Ice is called The Playmaker,
It ws not a sappy love story but rather a journey of a woman after she is viciously attacked and how she regains her strength in herself and allows herself to continue to love. I really enjoyed it.

The Playmaker (Fire On Ice Book Two)

Dakota Madison

Local hockey hero Kian Kavanagh has been called up to the big times, to the NHL's new expansion team in Seattle. He and Taylor decide to try a long distance relationship and burn up the phone lines talking to each other constantly.

They have gotten so close to one another, they really are the perfect couple. She has taught him that he is worthy to be loved after his childhood and he has opened her to being able to love after the scandal with Austin in highschool

Another horrific experiences awaits for Taylor as finally Blake catches her alone one day. He violently assaults her and once again Taylor needs to bounce back to find her inner strength to carry on.

I thought this story was going to be just a continuation of the love story that began in book one. I was totally wrong, this was so much more than a simple love story. This was the journey of a strong woman as she deals with a horrible situation and learns to grow. Sure, she has a few humane stumbles along the way but then she draws on her inner strength. It was a unbelievable journey as we watched her process what had happened to her and how she allows it to shape her life. It changes her outlook on so many things and she allows herself to grow with it. She fights back. She regains her belief in herself and continues on with her life.

The author does a great job portraying her struggles and how she copes with them. This tragedy affects her friends, family and of course Kian. It was a realistic view and journey to watch her deal with all of these people in her quest to renew her belief in herself.

I loved how she takes help from people that we were not expecting. I appreciated the effort that Kian puts in and her family's growing acceptance for him. It was great to see everyone give her space but continue to shower her with love and support. A true emotional read. I would give both of these a 5.5.

The Playmaker by Dakota Madison

March 11, 2014
I have been reading non stop for the last week or so. Usually I read one or two books and then write the reviews. It seems as I was not paying attention as I have nine reviews to write. Now a few of them are two or three part stories so it is not all that bad.Good thing that I take notes. The first series up today is by Dakota Madison. A love story revolving around a hockey player and a girl that has been hurt by, of course, a hockey player in her past. This story is full of twists and turns and touched me deeper than I thought it was going too.

Fire on Ice

Dakota Madison

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

Kian Kavanagh is living his dream playing professional hockey. He is saving all his money so that he can realize his secondary dream of opening a sports bar when his hockey career is over. He is dedicated to hockey and even more focussed on his life afterwards.

One night when he was dragged to the local bar The Twisted Kilt he eyes a girl in the corner looking totally out of place dressed in a blouse and long skirt reading. Huh. Turns out she is doing an experiment for her psychology class.

Taylor has been through a rough time in high school thanks to her hockey star ex-boyfriend Austin. So not only does she not want to have anything to do with Kian because she is not dating, he is a hockey player and that makes him twice as bad.

Kian, howerer, does not give up lightly and relentlessly pursues her, once sending her $500 worth of flowers. Soon they spend some time together.

Things are different with you, he says, I have never felt this way before, I feel in my heart.

He is from the wrong side of the tracks as a child, with a screwed up family history and a drunk for a mother whose boyfriends used to beat on him. She is from a preppy well-to -do family of University Scholars, her parents don't even watch sports. How are they possibly going to connect emotionally, they are so different.

Kian is falling for her hard. " I didn't think I was worthy of being loved."

This story just goes right for the gut. It pulls emotion right out of you as you watch these two people fall in love. She who is so scared because she was hurt and betrayed so badly and Kian who is experiencing love for the first time. It was a very emotional ride. Her sister Zelda is a free spirit, a drama major and is quite capable of overtaking any scene she is in. Blake is a scary guy that gets all stalkerish on Taylor and is scaring her to death. Kyle is her best friend and study partner who is having a hard time letting another man in.

I loved reading about all these characters. I feel the author has put down a great beginning for this series. I am looking forward to reading part two. I would definately give this story a 5/5.

Fire on Ice (Fire on Ice #1)
